Autonomous Systems and Robotics

This course covers the full stack of autonomous robotic systems development. You will study ROS 2 (Humble/Iron) — architecture, topics, services, actions, lifecycle nodes. Navigation: Nav2, SLAM (GMapping, Cartographer, ORB-SLAM), path planning (A*, Dijkstra, RRT), local navigation (DWA, TEB). Computer Vision: OpenCV, YOLO, depth cameras (Intel RealSense, OAK-D), stereo vision. Manipulators: MoveIt 2, kinematics (IK/FK), trajectory planning. Drones: PX4, ArduPilot, MAVSDK, simulation in Gazebo/Ignition. Practical projects: autonomous mobile robot navigation, pick-and-place with manipulator, autonomous drone flight.
